Out before the storm arrives

Cold front with a squall line is coming but I?m trying to sneak in a hunt before it gets here. Saw a pile of gadwalls whole windshield scouting yesterday and got to the ramp really early. Three young guys were in the blind I wanted. I think they got there at 1:30! We chatted, nice kids. I went east of them and was all set up by 4am. Now for.nap until 6:00, shooting time is 6:20.
City of Mobile to the west.

Rough morning, literally and figuratively.
Wind picked up after I got set up, 10-20 and gusty from the south.
Witnessed all possibilities of bad behavior for public water hunting. Showing up late (right before shooting time), setting up too close, showing up 10 minutes after shooting time, sky-busting, calling birds off when they are working others. It was ridiculous. Reminder of why I haven't hunted that area in at least 5 years.
I had my chances at a few gadwalls, a bluebill and a Buffy. Blew all 4 shots, 13 shells and not a bird to show for it.
Front is coming, tomorrow is looking nasty rough, north at 15-30, I think I'll sleep in, go to mass, watch a game and then head back out after redheads and greaters on the big water early Monday morning.
