I need to digitize a lot of the older photo albums I have. For now here's a good contrast.

Looks like the past few decades have been good to you if those are representative of your seasons. Our bag have changed quite a bit. Gadwall are conspicuously absent these days and now we have cans, but not as many. Those are the biggest differences.

We see a lot more gadwall than in the past. Was always black ducks, broadbill and brant when I was starting out. Then mallards became more prevalent. Now I live farther south in the state and can hunt more wilderness areas that open up new species to see. The 2019 picture was a highlight shot of three days of limits with my father during one of the few cold snaps we've had. 25 years for me and 50+ for him of gunning in NJ helps us know when to go and where to go when conditions are right.
