So, these decoys were given to me many years ago by a college professor. He didn't know who made them and no longer duck hunted and so he gave them to me. I figured someone here would know who made these....the bottom boards are plywood and I have resealed them several times because they soaked up water like paper napkins. Obviously these babies need painting again but some of the old black duck speculum paint is still there. I used to use them quite a bit but they are heavy, heavy, heavy birds. They are what I would consider magnum sized birds. Soooooooooooo decoy gurus....know who/what company made these?

Dani,

I have no clue who made them, but they are great pieces of waterfowl history. I am working on a rig of cork mallards and blacks to replace the dozen plastics my wife bought me for my birthday in 1979. By "working on" i mean purchasing a few at a time.

Yours may be heavy, put them on display and enjoy the history every time you look at them.

Happy fourth of July, stay safe.
