Opening day surprise

Funny thing....speaking of quality control,....I completely forgot about an 870 SuperMag I bought in 2003. Within a month of the purchase, the ejector broke off, on opening day morning while I was in the swamp after wood ducks. I took it back to the gun shop, got it fixed, and traded it in for store credit.

I have owned and shot Remington "Shootguns" since the 1960's.

Bought a 1187, 12ga. when they first came out. JUNK pure and simple, and that is being kind. You name it and it broke, or was just plain bad workmanship from the jump.

The best thing about the gun was it was so bad I traded it in on a new Benelli M1, and never looked back.

What happened to a once quality gun marker is a damn shame. Last I read they are toast.

my 2 cents
