Last Summer's Duck Blind Project

The blinds we built last summer each had their inaugural hunt over the past few weeks. I must say it sure is nice to hunt from a big comfy blind that offers visibility and concealment. I think we came up with a pretty good design by using clear span construction with trusses instead of poles and beams. Below are a few pictures to yesterday's hunt and a link to a video I threw together and put on Instagram.

Great work on the blind and hunt. As I get to be an old codger I really appreciate the comfort of a good blind myself, more so than boat blind. Still have a soft spot though for leaning against a big old tree in river bottoms. It is hard to beat a good platform and walls to break the wind, roof to keep the elements at bay though. And my lab sure appreciates the heater next to her when shes cold!

Very nice. Went and watched the video, what is the song playing and by who. I like it.

Similar style of music. A band I have been following for a long time. The Flamin Oh's. One of my many favorite songs of theirs

I checked them out and could tell they were much earlier than Cracker, but definitely had that non-glam back to basics sound.
