"Swap" decoy started today (Update)

Ahhh...the George Strunk inspiration. It's a great thing, ain't it.

Good looking decoy so far Kevin. Call me if you want to talk paint and pad weights...

Thanks a lot Geoff. I love the buffies that you did recently! I'll give you a call soon and pick your oil painting brain......................I've been talking to Lenny and he has been a big help to me. Hope all is well in the new home............................Best, Kevin

Very nice! Please keep us involved in the carve it would be great to see it come together especially with the head position.

Mate, That is looking ace, thanks very much..I wont be using it on the water as my wife has her eyes on it for the front room, so dont worry about the weights, unless you wanted to paint them in, as it will cost the earth to send it over here. let me know if and when mate and we will sort out the cost..

Cannot wait, many thanks, Paul

No problem Paul. I'll put a very thin pad weight on the bottom for you. It won't add enough to the shipping weight to make a difference. The decoy will be very light once hollowed. This way if you wish to gun it you can........................Cheers, Kevin

The more I look at the photo, the more I know I am going to enjoy seeing it every day, I am at work and they have got problems with opening my hotmail, so in answer to your question a drake would be ace.

Many thanks Paul

Yes Michael it's cedar and will be finished in oils.

Got it Paul. I'll post progress tomorrow................................Kevin
