I have this wednesday off from work and have been in contact with Kelly Kubik (ct wildlife technician) He is starting a ruffed grouse project and i am going to give him a hand looking for spots to set up traps and look for grouse. It should be a nice day off from stream shocking.
Last time i helped him out we went goose banding and actually got to do some banding, i also get covered with goose turds. So it was a great day!!!

I also have plans to help him band ducks by both traps and explosive net techniques. So i cant wait for that
spent the day bush wacking with Kelly, his two seasonals Megan and Katherine and Mike Gregonis(the small game biologist)
