hello guys,
i don't mean to interrupt, but seeing randy dows name and pic got my attention. i have hunted on great bay for 12 years, and he is a legend around here. friends of mine have seen him scull in reverse. perry is that your pic with the great bay sneak float posted on this site? i just bought a old sculling boat built in portsmouth, nh around 1938. i was told it was refered to as a great bay sneak float or a piscataqua river gunning float. i am now the 4th owner. apperently the 2nd owners name was randell from elliot, and he sculled great bay with randy. i bought it earlier this season and havent had the time to mess around with it. tom johnson was going to give me some pointers and introduce me to randy this spring. if you know any more of this style boat, i would love to hear about it. if you wish to see any pics i will try to post.
thanks
