Started putting new heads on my surds and black scoter... back in September... the Surfs are flocked...and need to flock the blacks... just in time for next season!!! Lol 20221231_175622.jpg20221231_175632.jpg20221231_175640.jpg20221231_182217.jpg

The black flocking really adds a nice touch and realism. My son has some flocked mallards but they don't pop like your black scoters.

Phil what did you use to get the flocking to adhere? I used titebond 3 and walnut hulls on my homer geese and the stuff has been sloughing off in year two. Maybe I should have just painted the heads, which I will say take a beating (wife put some pellets right into them and only minor dents), instead of covering them. That being said I've been thinking of just flocking them.
