Been gone a long time. Glad to see some of the old guys are still around. Very saddened to hear of the loss of Steve Sutton. Will definitely miss his frozen Scoter deliveries in the winter time. Hope all is well, and hope more of the oldtimers are still on the right side of the grass, and not ready for a dirt nap. Later guys, be sure and check your plugs!

Welcome back! Don't be a stranger.

I too have wondered how your son is doing...

Eric, still in Missouri. Got out of chasing waterfowl for a while while receiving treatmen for cancer. Been doing a lot of trout fishing, guiding, and tying flies for some different shops. Started shooting some sky carp again, and as a matter of fact, just got back from Cheyenne Bottoms in Kansas. If you think Arkansas is good, then you will dedinitely have to try Kansas! Lots of mallards, pintail, and geese. Dogs got a good workout for once, and it seemed they havent forgotten much. Todd is doing well. He is still paralyzed from the chest down after getting shot in Huntsville during an attempted carjacking. After 8 weeks in ICU in Huntsville, we med flighted him to Atlanta to the Shepard Center for spinal chord rehab. We then moved back to Missouri, and now live south of there in Imperial. Todd finished his education at University of Missouri in Columbia. He now is working for Washington University in St. Louis. He has 3 dgrees, but is now working as a paralegal in their law library doing research. He still, has a lot of medical issues, but handles them well. He is my hero. Not once has he complained about his condition, or reality. How many more old timers have we lost? Steve was quite a shock. Last time I talked with him, he was planning to move back to Florida, I think. Mentioned to him that the older you get, warm weather bird hunting gets more interesting, and would be glad to dodge some gators while shootin teal! Stay in touch, and I will get back to you soon. How is the family doing now? Are you a grandfather yet! Take care. Gene

Nice to see you back after a long hiatus.
We've lost a number of original members along the way. Part of being a member of a large group of friends unfortunately

So glad to hear Todd is doing well and is able to be productive. We have lost a few others, Jon Yenulonis, Tom Scholberg, and Wis Boz, quickly come to mind. No grandkids yet. Andrew and Thomas each graduated this past semester and Caroline will be a freshman at AU in the fall. It all makes you shake your head and ask how has it gone by so fast?

Stick around. There's a lot of good conversation every week.

Eric
