OK, Poke Boat Fans . . . .

Pretty neat little boats. Don't think i'd be sliding over logs or bumping over rocks with one though. Love those weights .
 
In an alternate universe where I travel to interesting places and actually stay long enough to do interesting things, it would be pretty cool to take a folding yak and a fly rod along in my checked baggage. Sure would beat an inflatable yak. If I RV'd, having folding yak would also be a really nice. They are a bit pricey.

I saw a lady unfold one at Marblehead on the Saco a couple years ago. Never did see her come back, lol. It looked like it was just coroplast material. I would curious how long the fold creases remain intact and water tight.
 
Gentleman in our local TSCA club had a folding boat. Designed to fit on the overhead of a railroad compartment.

Seemed like a lot of work to assemble.
