The mis-adventures of Woodrow

Well, Woodrow has been packed up and shipped to Florida. He should be delivered tomorrow and the UPS tracking service has him on time. Regretfully, I was not able to take a wood duck over him during his stay in the Heart of Dixie (if I was a betting man, I would have lost the farm on this bet). However, he was a part of taking several other species of ducks including canvasbacks, ringnecks, gadwall, mallard, and of course COOTS.

He shared in some misadventures while here as well.

Woodrow is a great decoy and I appreciate the opportunity to have hunted over him this year. Good luck to all that hunt with him the remainder of the season.

Jon:
At least you got ducks over him! Hopefully the Florida hunters will have better luck than some of us. Great pictures however, thanks!

So now you enjoy seeing Woodrow getting the "Coot Hug?"

In case you overlooked it, have another gander at the second picture. I'm not trying to light a fire under myself again here, but I so enjoyed everyone's comments from the last time I posted a picture of him with coots...

Glad to see he's still working. I get a laugh everytime I see a pic of him...

...I painted the primaries on backwards. Maybe when I'm dead and gone and become famous, this one will pay for someone's kids college!!!

Nothin wrong with coots in my book. The late Bill DeGeorge Mistakenly fed me Mudhen BBQ....I haven't looked at a coot the same since. Great stuff.

Thanks for sharing Jon and being part of the Great Woodrow Adventure.

Happy New Year,

D
