New Guy
Im new to the site, I shoot a bennelli super black eagle II. I have been having problems with it firing the first shell and jamming?? I shoot kent fast steel. both the 3" and 3.5" do it. Have any of you experienced this? I can go to the skeet range and shoot 3 box's of target loads and have no problems. I love the gun when it shoots correctly. Any advice would be appreciated

Welcome. I can't help you with your gun but know others here can. When you registered there was a statement about using your real name. You'll get a lot more responses if you go with the guidelines and use your name. You can change your handle to you name in the Edit Profile -> Uers Profile section.

Good luck.

It's recoil operated.
If you subconciously roll your shoulder with the kick, you rob the compression spring of the energy needed to cycle. If you've shot a pump for a while you'll have to break this "habit."
Try mounting and holding the gun firmly.

Marty,

No idea about your gun but welcome aboard. Are you the same "waterfowlah" that posts on some other sites and also from New England?

My SBE jammed quite a bit the first season I had it. Mine didnt like the lube/cleaners I was using. I use BreakFree now, and NO more problems.

Hey MikeM yeah its me. Thanks to all for your reply's. paublo I figured it was the way I was shouldering the gun also. So without shooting at game I held the gun extra tight to my shoulder and it still did it? I'm going to try different shell's today maybe the kent have something to do with it? I Have tried different oil's thinking the viscosity differences may have something to do with it but it still jam's I didnt mention earlier I'm on vacation this week Hence the urgency. I would rather not be shooting a single shot.

Thanks Marty
