Had a fun opening day with the dog, started around 7am knowing the wind and rain out of the Northeast would be bad I decided to launch at from a spot that has a short ride to a protected cove, when I got there someone already had the spot, decided to cross the river and hunt the leeward side of the islands, lots of Brant flying missed the first few but finally got the dog some work and she loved it. Saw some blacks and large flocks of what looked like Bluebills, the ride back was 3 foot and 25-30 but the Estuary handled it like nothing.
