Guys,
I look at FaceBook about once every couple months. I just happened to look today and saw this post from Mark Rongers, regarding a fire in his home garage/shed. He lost boats, a canoe all his decoys etc.

Mark's attitude, as usual for this good man, is notable.

Dear Facebook family,
This past Sunday, our shed burned down along with 3 boats, a canoe, our snowblower, my bicycle, and 8 dozen duck and goose decoys. The good news, no one was injured. Also, the garage and house had no damage.
The Hobart Fire Department and Police did an excellent job, containing and extinguishing the fire, as well as keeping people safe. I highly commend their efforts. I also owe a deep debt of gratitude to neighbors Danny and Hans for their efforts.
I am sad, but am reminded that these are only material possessions. All that matters is that nobody was injured. Fires burn hot, and fast. God had His hand over all of us

Sorry to hear about the fire, glad nobody was hurt. I hope he kept his trade decoys somewhere else, he must have quite a collection. If I understood him correctly when he was out here, he would get one as a memento of each the MLB trips. He had one or two from my shop.

On another note, I think Eric scored post number 300,000 on the main forum. Pretty neat, congratulations and thank you for a wonderful website.

Sorry to hear it! One of my nightmares. Horrible to hear.

Anyone know if he still is at the same place in Indiana that he was 20 years ago?

been there, the day after my MFA thesis show at SIU. Damn arsonists in 1968. Hope you have good insurance!
GOD BLESS
