Today is one year since Murphy passed away, We sure do miss the old doughnut eater thats for sure. This weekend gordy just started sleeping out of his crate at night and I sure did miss getting stomped on in the night by a dog that for sure. Murphy was our 1st dog for Denise and I and as most know he was our kid 100%.

I hope your having a good time old buddy in the marsh in the sky, your in good company that I am sure of.

Where murphy rests today inside of that Labrador Decoy, he keeps with him one powder sugar doughnut and one chewed up shot shell.
See you again someday

Very nice tribute. I'm old enough to have had a few dogs and I miss them all. They were/are our children.

I remember 1 yr. ago when you wrote about your buddy. It broke my heart. Its amazing how we connect with our hunting dogs. Hopefully the memory's will outlast the pain.

That is one fine tribute for a most deserving partner. Nice work and exactly what this section was meant for.

Dave,
I'd just like to take a moment to say I know how you feel. I lost my partner "BO" on July 5, 2006 at age 16 years. It just rocked my world. You never realized just how much they mean until thier gone. I just hope the two of them are together in the here after.

Wow Dave, you darn near brought a tear to my eye. What a lovely tribute. My old gal Aggie is finished for the most part. I have to get some pictures of her making a few retrieves before it's too late. My first lab is in the crook of my dad's arm...they're burried together. The best of friends.

dave,
every time i log in a look at you tribute. it reminds me of hunts with my buddy Jeager. we put him down 4 years ago. it is a special bond we all have with our k9 friends. great tribute. thanks for sharing we all know how tough it can be.

It's always tough to lose friends, whether they are furry footed or human. I miss every one of my dogs that I have had over the years. Right now I have a 7 year old female APBT and a 5+ month male Lab.

Very nice page...

Hey Dave,
This is my first time on the tribute page and I cant tell you how glad I was to see my old buddy
Murphy. He (again) made me smile with his pictures. The high point of my day so far.

Thank you.

I'll stop in and find his video tonite.
