Buying a handgun

If MN won't sell the Walther, go to Grabagun.com and buy the M&P 22 online. Pre-Arrange with a local FFL as you will need to have it shipped to them

Usually $25-$30 fee from FFL.

I couldn't get the MP22 due to its threaded barrel even though it's tack welded over. Local police felt that if fired enough the barrel could get hot enough to unscrew the thing they welded over the threads to prevent its usage. When I said "but it's California compliant" he said, "are we in California?" [huh]
However if you are east of Riverhead in the MY SAME COUNTY of Suffolk, it's legal........[huh][huh]

For everyone who helped out, thank you. It seems not everyone understands the law of MN regarding melting points of gun parts and which ones are legal and which ones aren't. I spoke with a few gun shops (thanks to info provided from a member on this site) and got conflicting answers as to the guns legality. It was about a 50/50 split on good or bad. Found a shop within 30 miles of here who had it in stock at a very fair price. I now own my very first handgun.

Thanks again for taking time to help me out.
