I am looking for something similar to this picture, something that will snap on to the conduit of the Beavertail blind that I can tie a cord to. To keep the blind quiet and steady in the wind, I want to add a couple cam cleats at the gunnels, and have a tail on each side that I can snug down, but want it quick to undo and get after cripples if need be. I would prefer the tails be captive at the cleat, and not be one more thing dangling and blowing around as I head down the road. As I made the blind height adjustable now, I need something that is not a fixed length.

All my search words have not found what I am thinking... any ideas?
 
My first thought when I saw that picture was "sail clip"....

Used inline with an elastic, or thin bungee cord and some spring buttons for adjustment.
 
Dave, give Primos customer service a call. They use the exact clip on for retention on the Double Bull three-leg stools to hold them tight when broken down. They may be able to direct you to a source supplier.
