Howdy folks,
My relatively trusty 12' boat has seemed to meet it's demise. After a runaway 15 HP cracked the transom, a late winter duck hunt ended up ripping the rest of the transom.
It was at the point where I couldn't even steer my 3HP Lightwin without lifting the motor...so I figured I had nothing to lose and try to completely convert it into a duck missing machine.
I made a replacement transom from 1/2" plywood. My question is how should I attach the transom to the aluminum? Would 3M 5200 be my best bet with stainless screws to hold it?
Thanks,
Cory
