Andrew, I know that you really enjoy stories of dangerous animals running loose in the woods, so I thought I would post up this video just for you. The rest of you can enjoy it too.

This video was shot by a guy on a Kodiak island bear hunt in May 2006. The sad part is that he had just landed on a float plane and could not hunt the same day he flew in. He was limited to just taking video of this bear. Back tracks were 15 inches long, and the fronts were 9.5 inches wide. He never got a chance to take this one and had to settle for a smaller one.

If you don't know how to tell if a bear is big or not you just need to look at the ears. If they look like little tiny Ted E. Bear ears sticking up and are far apart, then his head is more than just a big head - its a monster sized head. Also look for any daylight under his belly which will let you know if he has long legs and a big body or not. This fella has not called Jenny Craig yet.
