Just finished my first decoy

Well its been a month that i started the decoy with Ron Smith. Thank you Ron for your time and patients it was a great learning experience. I really would have been lost without Ron. Well i did a ringer and he will sit in my spread next season. Hopefully going to gain 5 or more buddies as well. Time to buy all the equipment now!

Thats a nice job for your first decoy, now that you have got the Bug you can start the other 5 Mate.

Way to goooooo! The first one is always the toughest one. Number 2 will be even better.

FYI: In the old days, when girls had short hair-do's, it used to be called a "bob." Chopper builders used to cut down, or "bob," the rear fenders on their motorcycles (Indian Larry was famous for his bobber-style choppers). So, if you decoy doesn't have a tail...it's a bobtail decoy. You've got one:)
 
its a great hobby and very relaxing.I enjoyed every minute.. your mind is in another planet once you start carving, then you snap right back into reality
