Sold to a Form Member... Thanks to all...Price reduction...50 HP Mercury 2 Stroke 40 hrs. Power Trim/Tilt

I have a 2007 50HP Mercury that I purchased NEW from Precision Marine in Seaford at the beginning of the 2009 Season as my motor took a dump. I used it all season about 40 hrs and would like to sell it as I have a new 17' Freedom (Banks Boat ) on order with a new 70HP 4 Stroke Yah... that Banks will rig for it.

My Mercury is a 2 stroke EFI stored indoors on the rack at Baldwin Harbor Marine here on Long Island, it has been fully serviced and I would like to sell it. It has a wonderful camo paint job and I know anyone who puts it on their boat will be pleased... I am selling it for $3,000.00, and this price is firm. It has full power tilt and trim along with key start and tiller steering. It is a 20" shaft engine. Please leave me a private PM and I will send you my cell number if you have an interest.

Best regards.

Boat was mfg. here on Long Island, NY.

Draws 4" Wt. 375# (without eng.) Speed... (too fast with a 50HP) being refitted with at 25HP for 2010/2011 Season. LOA 17' 4" Beam 64". Great three man boat... have hunted three men and dog... very tight. Generally we hunt in a group of two or three men in the boat with a good supply of decoys....

Have a new 17 Banks Freedom coming late this summer and the boat in the photo will be used as one of the "reserve" boats in our little fleet.. We have a consortium of four hunters with 9 duck boats to choose from.
We hunt on the South shore of Long Island from the Queens / Nassau boarder East to Fire Island.

Best regards,

Howard,

are you sure its not a 20inch shaft? When you get into some of the higher horsepowers they go 20 and 25 inch. Where on the smaller hps its 15 and 20. Just a thought.

Howard,

I repowered my 1976 Starcraft with this same motor. I paid $3875 plus rigging just before the 2008 season. Mind you it was a 2007 carry over when I bought it. I'm sure that's not what you wanted to hear but you asked.

Good luck. That is a sweet running motor. I sold mine before moving to Florida last fall. Wish I had thought it though. Also mine was a 20" shaft.
