I know its a long shot but I bet someone has (or know someone who has) a Hoefgen Duck Boat in their shed/garage/storage/yard they haven't used in a few years and are ready to let it go. Please respond to ad, leave a PM or, or send an email (reddfin@gmail.com).

Watch one of the nation wide craigslist search engines. I found one a couple months ago, wasn't listed as a hoefgen, just knew the style.

Hoefgen new boats in stock-from their web site.
Boats currently in stock:

3 - 15' Fiberglass Duck Boats --@ 1095 each --they do not ship any more
1 - 16' Forest Green Kevlar Canoe (47 lbs)
1 - 17' Forest Green Fiberglass Canoe
1 - 17' Teal Fiberglass Canoe
1 - 18' Burgundy Fiberglass Canoe

(All Kevlar Hoefgen canoes have a removeable portage yoke.)

We are building hand-laid fiberglass and Kevlar canoes and duck boats on a part time basis. It is limited production on an order only basis, however we will no longer ship. Also people who currently own a Hoefgen canoe or duck boat will be able to schedule repairs as needed. Just email hoefgen@hoefgencanoes.com or phone (906-863-9351).

Co-owners,
Sandy and Paul Hoefgen

Thanks for the help. Ive been searching for a couple weeks and have plenty of time but, they dont come up very often in FL or even the Southeast. I thought I would try used and a little closer before I get a brand spankin new one and have to pay crazy shipping on top of it.

You will love the boat. I have had one for many years and it has added quite a bit of enjoyment to my duck hunting as it allows me to get to places no one else can go with bigger boats. Good luck on your search.

If by some chance you decide to buy a new one and can arrange to get to southern WI to pick it up, I can probably work it out to get it to you. I currently am with in 15 miles of the shop every other week, and have family in Southern WI so we make plenty of trips there on weekends.

I love my hoefgen, but with two young kids I don't use it much. With all of this rain this year I made need to use it more, I am afraid the waders may be a little short this year!

Thanks very much for the offer. MI and WI are both pretty far away. Now if we could get a couple more members who drive a little further south and a little bit East we can have that hull in FL in no time.lol.

Keep me in mind if you see one in your travels or if you decide to sell or trade yours. Any interest in trading up for a factory built Arthur Armstrong Wigeon hull, a 15hp Yamaha outboard, or Yamaha VXR-Pro jet ski?

Regards,
Tony
