When will the group be able to post pics of their rigs on the new reader's rigs part?

I'm thinking of building a permanet blind on a flat and I would like the see some pics and plans
of this very talented group.

It sure is slow huntin on Pool 13. Maybe new weather coming.

Barb,

Can I get a breather? Seriously, sometime after my hunting season is over and am caught up on everything that gets cast to the wayside during it.

Geez, Eric...me, me, me...

I want to go hunt...

I want to do something else besides get duckboats fully functional for a change...

My happiness and sanity come before duckboats....

Man...

(very truly tongue-in-cheek...I love the new digs...take a break, then come back and impress us some more...)

You made me chuckle. Actually there are a few loose ends to tie up but I'm taking some time off before adding the new stuff.

How's the vintage bandsaw? Did it have the beltguard? I bid on one from ebay yesterday but the dang thing went sky high, over $150.

Remember that second bandsaw I bought for $300 just to get the cast iron base? I parted that sucker out on Ebay and got almost $400. To bring mine back to original configuration I need an original wheel, the belt cover, and the task light. All of which are eluding me. The silly little task light are going for over $100 if you can believe it.

Eric, thanks for the reminder. I never got my Iturra catalog...don't have any idea what they are doing, but there is another "Rick Pierce" in the area...maybe the post office delivered it to him, despite the completely different addresses. I have to call Iturra so I can order parts.

The belt guard is on the back - the original, wooden blade guard is still there, the original motor, etc. Only thing missing is the "bullet cap" on the motor that the previous owner said he broke when he first got the saw...oh, and the table insert in the center.

The blade guides need to be replaced, and the dust/grease muck cleaned out from the adjustment screws on the guides.

I had thought I would get it going right after the Alabama show, but a trip to Texas, then some deer killing, and the holiday plus duck hunting have gotten in my way.

No big rush, just trying to plan my boring winter weekends.

Have a good season,
