A guy near me (Davey Edwards) has started a new big water duckboat company, Bones Boats. His first one is going to be a 22ft powered by a 250hp outboard!! He has progress pics at his website that I figured you guys would want to see. I don't personally know him but, I know a guy who does and I should go take an upclose look. The link brings you right to the pics. Info about him and his company can be gotten to from there.

Very similar to the Bankes new boat Titan. Or for that matter their older model the Goliath.

Very nice if you want aluminum.

250 Hp, heck they will fly.

Glenn will still probably beat them in a flat line race though.

Rick, the only price I found was:

"MSRP on a 22' "Bare Bones" hull will be around 30k per the perimeters stated on the design page. "Bare Bones" will include the hull as described, camo paint, hydraulic steering, SS wheel, 4 cleats, marine electrical and lighting and some other things to make sure you're getting your hard earned dollars worth."

Should be a cool boat. I love AL boats. Bill Lincoln I assume is the boat designer, he is a good friend of mine and lives in Newburyport, MA. Bill does some great design work and I'm sure this one will be a killer boat. Looking forward to the finished results. Hank

Hey Hank: I'll tell you, Bill L is probably one of the nicest guys. I cannot tell you how unbelievable he is as a designer although I'm sure you already know that. I could not be more blessed to have him on the Bones team. Thanks for your comment.

Hey CJ, yes...they are in the plan. We really just want to come in slow and do each size correctly and then move to the next. To be honest, we are kinda in a pickle because we were going right to the 24' next but we've had a lot of interest in the 20's so not sure about the next boat. Smaller sizes will follow those...I'll keep you posted and really appreciate the feedback and question!!!

If you have a moment please send me some specs on a "smaller boat" of your liking.

Thanks!!!

Myself here on Lake Erie & Ontario would like to see the 18' when finished but 16' is perfect for what my buddies run now w/deep V. But like most said, depends on price too. If I am dropping that ching, it will also be my summer perch & walleye boat (downrigger mount area needed).

Hey guys...nope..we are still here. Sorry for the delay Bob. Also an FYI...we wanted to invite you Mid Western guys to our open house to be held sometime in March in Valders, WI before she makes her trip to New England for some sea trial time. Send me a message on your interest and I'll give some dates when we get a little closer.

Any recommendations for paint colors would be appreciated. Thinking 3 shades of gray for now but open for suggestions....

Have a great night and talk to you guys soon...

Hey Steve thanks for your input. I'll be passing though PA on the way home from WI when the boat is done. Love for you to see the 22' to get a feel for our product. and yes...the whole concept behind a Bones' was to give you guys a true multifaceted sport utility boat. We understand the costs of our boats need to be justified by not only the quality but functionality. I believe we have achieved just that in our unique design. 16's are next in line for us...I'll keep you posted on it's progress. Thanks again for reaching out....
