Hey Guys,
Been some time since I posted but I'm still visiting. Got a new Mac so I'm testing things out now that the kids are letting me go on the computer.

Here's a great appetizer, This was my second drake mallard of the first split of my season, it's been slow for me not because birds aren't around but that I've been chasing upland game.

"they" say you can still eat this but I say you go first and tell me how you feel in the morning. I was a nice plump drake, too bad I'm not in the mood to eat rice breast.

My Chessie, Chance, has been doing a dual role these days, here he is bringing me a rooster but he definitely likes down over feathers. He dropped this bird a few times before bringing it to my hand. I'm okay with this... he tolerates me missing birds... we both aren't perfect it's a great match.

We only went out a few times for ducks this year, here's a shot from my favorite blind. This was drake number one, no rice breast... great retrieve for Chance and felt it was a perfect time to take a picture. Chance was watching the decoys, he has this attitude that seems like he has no time for pictures when he's hunting.

Hope you all have a a great holiday season, and enjoyable hunts.

Best regards,

ROTHFLMAO

Phil, if it was one or two, i might have tried it. I usually roast birds, so i've probably eaten a few over the years. This one I was in a rush to get them cleaned. I usually see this with black ducks.

"The tick I had I had I had I had before" BWhahahaha still cracking up. Thanks.

What are the white things in there anyway.

I have seen it in all the common ducks around here, I toss them.

For some reason it is prevalent in all of the ducks down my way> I've had blacks, mallards, pintails, and teal with it. I don't eat it if I see it, but I roast some birds and am sure I have eaten it. All of that cooks out and is benign, but it looks pretty gritty.
