Guys - It is with mixed emotions that I am selling this boat. I love the boat but, it is just a little too heavy to put in the back of my truck by myself. I want a boat I don't have to trailer.

This is a special boat. Not only was it the late Lee Harker's boat, but according to Mark Rongers, it was the #1 hull of this particular model. Put a fresh coat of paint on it and a camo job. Also has a floor deck and seat/backrest. Just got a brand new spray shield. Also has a clean title. Looking to get $850.00 out of it. Would possibly consider a trade for a 13'6" Four Rivers Layout boat in good shape with clean title.

Hey Pat:

Not in the market for the boat but I am interested in how you did the camo paint job. Is that a stencil or free hand?

Thanks,

Wheeler

David - I appreciate the inquiry. Basically just used a sponge and 3 colors of paint, black, grey and tan. Used somewhat of a tree branch pattern. That's it. Nothing fancy...

Pat a 13'6" Four Rivers is not the easiest boat to load on a full size truckbed by yourself either. Most folks around here trailer them for that reason.

A current MLB Zack Taylor weighs 160 lbs in fiberglass. Mark Rongers told me the early ZT's were a little heavier because they put a small piece of plywood in the floor. This being the first ZT is over 160lbs probably more like 170lbs. http://www.mightylayoutboys.com/zacktaylor.htm

In and of itself for a boat, even 170lbs is not a lot if you are going to trailer it. If you are going to lift is in the back of a pick-up truck by yourself, it is heavy for one man. A current Four Rivers weighs only 120 lbs. Hence, why I am selling the ZT in favor of a lighter weight craft.

I wish I was closer... and had the cash. This is a heck of a deal on a boat I'd love to have for several reasons.
Hope you sell it soon so I don't have to be tortured. :)

Tim
