"Jack, I'll go off the board for 'Palm Frond Decoys' "

Great looking decoy! I have always loved the bills on your birds. Any chance we could get you to do a step by step on carving bills?

Lee,

Sean Peters sent me the files my old series from MLB last month (two months ago?). I plan on revising & updating it one of these days, so whenever that happens, I'll post it somewhere.

Duane,

Thanks for the info on George.

BoB:
I emailed you about a "Black Duck' for my Dad, interested in your Chiloe Drake Widgon. Upon compleation, can you sent some photos.
Thank You Again, D Dominski

Dave,

Sent you all the info you need about a black duck quite a while ago. I also PM'd you that the Chiloe was sold before the pattern was drawn, but here are pictures for everyone of the finished Chiloe, frond-widgeon:

Bob, Your fronds are OUTRAGESLY AWESOME! I'm going have to get one of those someday. I could just stare it on the coffee table and in my puddler rig.

Bob, Once again, a truly brillant Decoy. Really love this one, as know you dont normally carve birds you dont hunt..Love it..

Here are a few photos of the Chiloe that I took on my last trip to Argentina.

And here is the photo that started this; crappy photo but you just gotta love these birds. They're calling their hearts out...

The last one is a collection of Giovani's decoys carved by George. Giovani would not let us hunt over them so I guess I'll just have to take a few of my own next time.

Hitch

Hitch - Nice shots of beautiful birds...........is that some kind of armadillo behind the deeks by the stove. The still of the birds, gun and big lens speaks volumes........the whole program. Bet the gunning was something down there.

Bob - Your decoys are spectacular and they have a very unique style. I do not know too much about decoys but your poses and paint almost look too nice to put in the water..........but I'll bet they are very effective !

Bob!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Unbelievable. The only word that comes to mind is (Sick). My boat wouldn't hold enough bubble wrap to haul that decoy around. Just beautiful.
Thanks for posting.

Gary March

Just seeing those decoys, Bob, would make any hunter want to go to Argentina. Just plain exquisite! Then to have that followed up by Hitch's great photos----Wow! Got a kick out of Gary's remark on the use of bubble-wrap.
