I am looking for a 16 or 18ft Maritime Skiff if anyone knows where one may be available... thanks!
 
If your looking new contact All Island Marine in Oceanside- ask for Terry or Chris. They may have a few leftovers/ trade-ins as well. Good people and good service.

I may have a nice used Carolina skiff coming in on trade. Let me know if it is of interest to you. We usually don't take in those types of boats but in this market we do what we have to do.

what size John? I am looking in the 16 to 18ft class.... want something l can turn into a flyfishing boat.

It is a 2008 16' Carolina Skiff on a trailer with a Merc 40hp 4 stroke and has the forward casting platform. It just came in and has not even been listed yet. I called the used boat dept manager and he said they were going to list it for aroud $8999 but I can get it for you for $7000.
Let me know if you want to take a look at it. It is currently at my location undergoing a trade in evaluation. I'll speak to the tech that is working on it to get the inside story if your interested.

Is that price for boat, motor & trailer? Looks nice, I was hoping for a 16 or 18ft Maritime Skiff as it's a V bottom and will ride better in chop, but then again the Carolina Skiff will float in half the water. Not much freeboard on the J16 though.... Hmm, decisions, decisions...
What's the condition of the trailer?

That is for boat , motor and trailer. it also has a kicker bracket and the package all looks to be in very good condition.
 
John... I am going to pass on this though the boat looks gorgeous. My father has a 16ft Johnboat and it pretty much does the same thing this does. If I am going to buy a boat it really needs to have a V bottom so I can go through some chop. If you see a Maritime or anything similar in the 16-18ft range, please let me know.
 
I have a 2008 18' MS set up for fly fishing, 57" long, full width stern casting platform, all pop-up cleats, 2008 90hp E-TEC, 2008 ShoreLand'r trailer, Garmin 540 GPS, Icom M304 radio. Everything in excellent condition.

I've not yet determined a fair & reasonable price. Boat located in Deerfield MA
