One of the biggest complaints that I hear from friends who own a business is the ability to hire "good" help. Well, let me tell you, that I found a dandy. This young lady---she's 3 months and 20 days younger than me, is fantastic. I don't know what I would do with out my sweetheart. Bev painted all the boards that we'll be using when we make the doors today.
This picture will show you that we now have all the wire up except for the doorways.
You'll notice that there will be some major manicuring to be done when the kennel is completed. That shouldn't take too long however. A pickax, shovel, and rake should do it.
Spring is here for sure. This is a claret cup. We have this cactus out in front of the house.
The pond plants are beginning to grow and the fish are now becoming quite active.
You'll see that the rose bushes are leafing out nicely in front of Bev's art studio. You can see our kennel to the northwest of the studio.
The wee one, known as Cayenne, seemingly has found her niche in life. She has acclimated herself as one of the tribe now.
If you noticed the blue pot with pansies growing in it up on top of two stands in front of the art studio----I had just put it there because yesterday while watching Cayenne, I thought I was looking at Marley, as she wandered around with a yellow pansy hanging out of her mouth.
This is one of my favorite spots to jump shoot ducks if my friend's beef cattle aren't getting a drink or grazing in the nearby field.
Enjoy today as if it would be the last day in your life. Make every second count.
