I do alot of wildfowling here in scotland mostly with the 12 gauge shotgun but this year i will be trying my hand at punt gunning....does anyone on her do any punting ?

A couple of our football teams can do nothing but punt.
Seriuosly, it is illegal to use a punt gun, at least by how it is defined here. Three shots from a shotgun not larger than 10 guage with nontoxic shot is what we can use. Interesting that you can still use one. I've been interested in waterfowling over there. Maybe one day I'll make it over and can try your style hunting.
Do you ever use decoys? Hand made or factory?

yes we do use decoyes and duck calles aswell but there normally made of plastic and factory made unfortunatly !

Ricky, I am not sure if some of the members of our forum from your side of the Atlantic do any punting or not. It seems Kevin Wilcox from England has done some. Glad to have you on board and look forward to seeing your posts.

Nah...just a big drift sock off the bow so I don't beach the boat on the far shore from the recoil.
