Casting trolling motor deck for 17' TDB. Back in 1996 i bought a Maine built TDB. At that time they offered as an option a casting trolling motor deck for the 17' model. Needless to say i didn't buy it ,wish i had. If anyone knows of one for sale please contact me.
Bill,740-286-3667. Thanks.

Hello David, Have you any pictures of what the thing looked like from old ads or such? I to would like one for my 17 classic. Maybe Nichols up in Flint has some old drawings and such. I understand the first 17 seaclass is being built at Nichols right now.
Thanks Tom

I did a little research and I am amazed that they make this boat about 10 miles from me. I had no idea. I may need to take a field trip. Look for Nickels Boat Works. (not Nichols) The address follows:

Arthur Armstrong Duck Boat Co., Inc.tm

1871 Tower Street

Flint, MI 48503

Hello Bill,
Glad you still are enjoying your TDB.
Have you considered having a deck of your design built by a local aluminum shop?
You could google 'bowfishing boats' to reference removable decks.I think gator trax has one on thier website.
Regards,
Dave.

Hi Dave, No i haven't looked into any custom work yet. I would like to find original equipment first ,i will call TDB in michigan next then look at custom work.
Thanks for the idea. My boat has been used for hunting only,i have been doing a little more fishing lately the addition of a casting deck would be neat.
How is your back healing? Are you back in the boat market? Hope all is well.
Bill.

Bill,
I just picked up a 1970 Super Skeeter Mag for a summer project.
Its not a TDB or Bankes but will suit my needs just fine.I'll try to post progress.
Getting around alright all things considered, just can't do all that I used to.
