Hello I am new to this web site and it was recommended as a resource to help me determine what duck boats I have inheritated. Respond to my e-mail and I can send photo's for anyone wanting to help me. Thanks sunrise_39@hotmail.com
P.S. put duckboat in the subject so you are not deleted.

I got some pictures from Marcia:

Boat #1, a double ender, obviously made by Sawyer canoe (formerly of Oscoda, but remaining molds were bought by Superior of Portland MI a few years back.) Honestly I didn't know they ever made a duckboat, anyone know any more about these (such as when they were built?)...I didn't locate them in the specs page here:

Very cool looking boat, definate eastern Michigan feel to it.

Boat #2. Waiting on some details and hopefully bigger pictures:

Kinda looks like a Herters Duck/Goose Skiff to me. I enlargened one of the photos, and although the stock Herters handle was not there, there seemed to be a paint shadow on the hull. Like I said, waiting for some more info, but any thoughts appreciated.

Those are 2 really cool boats! That Sawyer is exceptional and looks to be a very well thought out design. I've paddled Sawyer canoes before and have always liked the quality an the performance of their fiberglass hulls. Marcia, I hope you're into duck hunting because those boats are just waiting to go:)

Thanks for looking, actually I am not a duck hunter, just inheritated these boats and would like to pass them on to a dedicated duck hunter but need to know what I had to advertise. And yes I would like to see them get used and not stored anymore. So any info you have would be greatly appreciated.
