where in nj are you located ? Is the motor cable driven ? or gears ? for the carb?

Located in Columbus NJ, 10mins from Bordentown. Motor is cable driven I guess. Rebuilt the carb and it runs better, but it must need new reeds because it doesnt like to idle until its really warmed up. Compression is excellent, it really just needs to be looked at by a dealer for the idling issue. New fuel pump too. I'll take $500 for it if interested. Just bought a newer Merc 15, thats why selling.

Yes, that will work out just fine. The motor is my brothers, but he will be available the weekend. PM me with your phone number and I'll get you in touch with my brother.

Davey,
What make sneakbox do ya have there?
Bruce

The far sneakbox is a Simonsen and the closer one, the one with the Johnson motor for sale, is my brothers boat whose builder is unknown. We picked it up in dire need of restoration from a marina boat yard down in Barnegat a few years ago. It had been sitting upside down on a broken trailer for God knows how many years. We stripped, repaired, refiberglassed and its a nice boat. Semi-displacement hull. I run an Estuary now.

Davey,
It reminds me of a Sam Hunt box I had in the early to mid 80's....It was an old sailing box he had sitting around and I removed the sailing gear and glassed the bottom...Many a good hunts from that boat....It just sparked some fond memories so thought I would ask...I sold it to my friends father then when he got rid of it I lost track of it...Thanks for the response... I too run an estuary now...love it...
Bruce
