Posting pictures from an IPad

I got a new IPad for my job and it has a built in camera. I'm thinking, "Great, now I can just take the picture and post it direct to the forum". I took some pictures last night of "what's on my workbench" but when it came to adding attachments, the button was not highlighted to allow me to make that selection.

Is there some trick to this that I'm to seeing?

Mike,

It's most likely the browser. I use Chrome for almost everything, but if I want to post pictures I need to use Firefox or IE. I don't believe you have the choice for other browsers on the iPad, probably not what you wanted to hear.

i usually post pics to face book where they are resized then i post them here, you could make a fake account on there and just use it to resize the pics

Macs are fickle creatures. I think it can be done, but you would need to follow the 'basic editor' instructions in the help forum pic posting sticky. Otherwsise, get a photobucket account, you can resize them automatically and leave it set to private if you prefer. I use photobucket for 99 % of my photo posting...way easier and faster once you figure it out.

I agree with the photobucket comment. I downloaded the app to my iPhone. That way I can take the pic, upload it to the site, then copy and paste the image code here to the web.
