Hunting On Lake St Clair

Hunting On Lake St Clair
I was thinking about taking a trip out to Lake St Clair next year to do some hunting. Specifically on the Canadian side of the lake at Mitchells Bay. I am looking for any information, tips, suggestions, experiences with hunting out there. I would really appreciate any feedback. I am considering this to be my hunting trip of a lifetime so I thought I would start planning now. And I thought, what better place to start planning a waterfowling trip than right here at Duckboats.net.

Thanks for your help
Jeff.

Give me a holler when you get a chance (duckguylsb@juno.com) . We have a place on Lake St. Clair up at the NorthWest end of Anchor Bay and are affiliated with some guide services in Canada. We can put you in touch with them.
1. Stanley's Guide Service
2. Mike Andros-Outfitting on Walpole and Mitchell's Bay

A couple of the services are in our Links & Pro-Staff pages on our website: http://www.lockstockbarrell.com

Let me know how we can be of service.
Lou

Since it's going to be "a hunt of a lifetime"....you may want to give Walpole Island a day of your trip. At least just for the experience since you could end up getting skunked at either place. If I lived in PA. and wanted a trip of a lifetime...I'd get ahold of Jeff Coats and charter him for a few days on the Atlantic sea board....I want to do that someday.

Jeff,

Definatly shoot Rev. Larry an email. He pointed me in the right direction several years ago on my rookie trip to LSC. I've been back many times since. He'll steer you right.........

Thank you for the replies to my questions. I have certainly gained a boatfull of knowledge about Lake St Clair. I knew I couldn't miss by asking the people from duckboats.net. If anyone has anything else to add about hunting Mitchells Bay, Lake St Clair that will help me plan my trip next year please feel free to post or e-mail me.
