Toledo Decoy Company Closing

We've decided not to take anymore new orders. We will finish the orders we have already promised.

We would like to thank all of our customers and friends for the last 16 years. This was a hard decision to make but for a variety of reasons, health and personal, we think it's time.

Sincerely

Tom & Kim Tschabold

I guess I have to carve my own Brant dekes now. I tried to place an order last year for a dozen, but I called to late and they wouldn't have been ready for the season. I was hoping to maybe pick up a dozen this year.

thats to bad .....my timing stinks i have 7 of my first 12 carved and was going to order this week oh well , any one have any ideas where i can get some ww scoter heads

by far the most durable decoys around. His decoy heads are awesome and I have purchased dozens over the past couple of years.

Best of Luck Tom

I dont know Tom, but ordered a couple dozen last year. I dont think it is lack of business driving this. There was about a 4 month wait for mine.

I am very sorry to hear of his closing shop.

Thank you Tom for all the great service over the years. I bought several dozen of your heads over the years and you have always provided a great product, at an affordable price, with excellent customer service. Best to you and your family.

I really hate to hear that. I have several dozen of Tom's decoys and they are without a doubt the most durable decoy I've ever put my hands on and they look great too. Now I'm left pondering where I'll get replacements and repaints down the road. I wish Tom and his family all the best and hope he remains an active waterfowler and friend of this community.

I dropped Tom a note and from his reply, it sounds like he, like so many of us, is tired of going a year without putting the boat or decoys in the water.

More power to him for his hard work and excellent quality...Time to get on the water Tom and enjoy the only life we have been given.
