Farm Fresh---

There definitely is something to farm fresh---like eggs, sweet corn, cantelope, watermelon, peaches, apricots, garlic, and chile ! Bev and I love jumping in the Mule and driving 2 1/2 miles to a farm where we can buy fresh eggs. What a treat!

Nothing compares to farm fresh eggs from truely free ranging chickens!
I had a small flock in high school, the eggs were just amazing compared to store-bought: jumbo eggs with thick dark rich orange yolks.

I get mine from the neighbor lady. Helps her feed her "pets" Darn dogs broke in and killed all but one hen this spring so I'm on hold until the pullets start laying in a month or so....then fresh eggs again. :)

Those are some big green eggs. My grandparents had easter egg chickens when I was young but most of those eggs were smaller then the brown eggs. My sister has 8 Rhode Island Reds that just started to lay. Those things are so spoiled it is likely the will lay rotten eggs. :)

Nice Al

Im hopeing to put in a chicken coop next spring and having fresh eggs and some fresh chicken too.

I had to chuckle to myself while reading this thread. While working in sales and on the road a lot, I used to eat out quite a bit. I can remember those people who seemed quite fussy about the way their eggs were prepared for them-----close but not just right! Then they would complain to the waitress.
After being thoroughly spoiled now for almost 15 years of eating nothing but farm fresh eggs, I have often wondered what those same customers would say "today" if they ordered their breakfast eggs and were served only "Farm Fresh" eggs?
