yukon mike -- ever seen this?? NDR

In the wild ,it's hard to explain. In the past year I saw a grizzle in captivity take to a house cat that wandered in his cage and started eating from the bears dish.
About 34 years ago the Zoo in Camrose ,ALBERTA had A compound with 3 or 4 Bengal Tigers and a black Lab.They were raised together and played together. The lab was quick to avoid the playful swipes from the tigers.Strange things can happen with our animal friends.Us too, even more )LOL

I think I remember seeing pictures like that in National Geographic or something. Absolutely amazing. In my experience, all dogs seem to freak out at live bears. Wolves and dogs seem to hate each other even more. I had a coyote hanging in my garage yesterday to thaw and the pup, Jenny came walking through the door. Her immediate reaction before she even saw it was pure nerves and aggression and it took her a good while before she got up close for a sniff. When I brought that grizzly home last fall she had a different reaction. Nervous, but way less aggressive. I should have said that she is never aggressive when she meets a new dog, purely playful.

Those are some really cool pictures.

Mike
