Anybody out there ever put a jack plate, not a tilt and trim on a 17 tdb. I've got a 1982 35 hp johnson on my 17 classic. Thinking the jack hyd. makes more sense for me as I pretty much leave my trim the same all the time. And my boat goes plenty fast at 28mph. Just wanting to move around a little longer in really really really shallow water.
