thanks for the replys guys. Actually the service manager from my yamaha dealership called me back a few minutes after I posted... I figgered I had missed him for the day and wanted some reassurance I wasnt figgin to tear something up/ or need to go borrow a bike for sundak. Came home last night around 1130, stuck the plug in, open ed the garage and ran it up and on the trailer half a dozen times (my neighbors love me!) and it did fine. So we took it this morning and no problems at all. In fact, the hole I busted yesterday morning and sat next to in my truck for 5 hours waiting for the ducks to fly till I couldnt wait anymore paid off... they musta visited it after I left, because way before it was lite nuff to tell it was water we had ducks landing and splashing. When the clock put the end to nighttime it was on like a chickenbone and freezing yesterday was well worth it... Just my brother and me, and tj my 9 year old who isnt shooting yet, and we where done before the mallards starting flying (they where trying to come in to our pit that was still 3/4 locked in ice while we where picking up deeks and had a 4 wheeler running on the deep side of the field! Shame i couldnt stay, but I had to get back, sure felt good to finally have a decent duck hunt this year. Killing ducks 29 minutes before sunrise with their neck full like a beanbag aint cool though.. luckily forcast is for a couple days of rain and that moon getting smaller every night... might actually be like NORMAL duck hunting next weekend.
the tipe about running it in nutreal to dry it out is priceless though... I bet if I didnt have time to wait, that'd be a lifesaver, Ill remember it.
I seen that video... wicked funny. travis
