It seems that this Eurasian female and her partner decided that this peach tree branch was just right for a nest. The tree is next to the Puppy House that I am presently working on again.

The Mexican primroses are blooming nicely and adding their beauty to our environment.

The newest part of the Puppy House is now under construction. We decided to give the pups more running room and a good excuse to go outside to use the pea-rock or is that pee-rock?

Much has been happening around here in the past 24 hours. Habi and Chaco are now grand parents. They produced Serrano who had her first litter of pups for starting last evening at 6:60. #11 was born at 11:14PM and shortly after that, I went to bed. It was a long day because mine started at 3AM when I heard commotion in the whelping box. It was Serrano trying to build a nest out of the carpet in there.

Well, it is quite easy to see the influence of the sire, Chipotle. He is the proud papa.

Kyle, they are good sized Elbertas that we raise. Just two trees but they ripen about 3 weeks to month apart. We water our trees once a month during Nov. thru Feb. Twice a month for the rest of the year unless we are fortunate enough to get a good rain.
