"In your face"

I'm sure we've all used the term birds "in your face" or "we had them in our laps" well how about this flock of teal from the other day... I probably could have scooped them up with a crab net.

So close my barrel cam (focused for around 20 yards) was blurry

Thankfully grey ducks are a bit slower

great photos but don't tell me you didn't cut a feather on that whole flock of teal!!!

Wonderful captures.
There have been some great looking gaddies on here lately.

It sure is fun to see you being so successful. F-16s are an interesting specie. I love the action that they provide hunters. Great shots.

Very enjoyable photo's. Thank you. My favorite small duck to carve, hunt, shoot and eat. Ya gotta get on em early and swing for the bleachers. Either a bird or two falls, or some very bad words are spoken... I'll take em over mallards any day.

Great photos! Hitting any teal, especially when they are in a big group like that, is an accomplishment. That is a beautiful drake gaddy also.

I too would rather shoot the little ones over the mallards any day as well!

With teal there's 'shooting' them and 'shooting at' them haha. Nothing like having them come screaming in twisting left and right.

That being said I enjoyed a slower pace of some mallards that decoyed shortly after that shot was taken. Looks like another good cold shot coming end of this week so we'll see what happens!

I have found that flock shooting works best when a mob of teal is all over me.....just kidding. Awesome pics. Thanks for sharing
