Some beautiful work and great info in that vid.

Reminds me of watching my grandfather carve his decoys, I still have most of them me and my uncle split them when my grandfather passed away, got close to two hundred up in the attic. Seeing that makes me want
to try my hand at carving decoys.

The decoys could be made intricate with "fancy" positions because most hunters did not use or need alot of decoys. Even now 5-8 decoys is not an uncommon rig. How many would fit in a pirogue? I like the style of Reme Roussell out of Raceland ,LA. His blackjacks had great attitude.
