what size outboard for a Duck wrangler 15?

What size outboard for a Duck wrangler 15? I am considering purchasing one but need to know what size out board I will need. Horse power? Short or long shaft?

I have a 14ft with a 25 nissan long shaft pushes it about 22mph ,they made transoms for both 15/20" shafts, saw a 15ft on craigslist in ohio with a 9.9
 
Hi David: I have a 25hp long shaft on mine, it's rated for a 30hp maximum. I can get approx. 24-26 mph out of it loaded with all our gear, 2 guys and a couple dozen decoys.
 
I have a long shaft 40hp Evinrude 2 stroke on my DW 15. I have not put a gps on it but it will get up and go and feel very safe on the Mississippi and Missouri! I have a power trim/tilt unit which is much easier on my back and nice for running skinny water.
 
I had a 40 johnson it flew until it died. last year i put a 37 pro drive what a dream I hunt open water and marsh and timber you will be very happy 3 men and gear boat got on plane and was scary fast
