Yes... I have a problem... but I am OK with that..

I am.. for some reason, getting the itch for a 2 man layout... how light can I make one? Suggested plans???

Why? Did you get too fat for a one man layout? I know you don't need a two man because you have friends, unless you count Kodi.

PS can't help with plans.

#1 Dave, it actually was for me and Kodi...and why would I need friends when I have Kodi... Can't imagine a better friend!

Pete... I would like it to be 125-150#

That weight is certainly doable and you already have the skills - go for it. After my experience with the pole boat I would forego the 3.25 oz cloth and go with 6 oz. - quite a bit more durable. Not sure where you would find plans. I have some old plans for a one man boat that could be extrapolated I imagine. The other thing is to take lines off of an existing two man if you know anyone who has one.

Do you think the 6oz cloth would make it stand up against fencepost abrasion? (insert stupid ass face here to indicate jocularity...)

What happened to the ski boat? Dibs to NOT being first in there with you.

I have a MLB II in Kevlar that is around 125lbs so I know you goal is achievable.
I can't help with technical advice but my boat is larger than you probably need and has held up well.

Pretty sure we have floated 700 lbs of. Hunters in rough water.
