Deuce and I went along with my brother and two of his sons on Sunday. They had failed to tell me that they had good goose prospects lines up before I got there so I brought nothing along. I would just watch...and let Deuce do his thing.
Deuce got in a few good retrieves. One was well back in the uncut corn and another a couple hundred yards out into a bean field.
Deuce even got his first snow goose retrieve. Who would expect that in the early goose season?
I only took a few photos and got the end of his long retrieve on video. It was a beautiful morning well spent with family.
