PNW UPDATE

Well we finished up the Oregon coast and tried California for a minute they had and agricultural check station to get over the border. We made it 1/4 mile in and said it look just like Oregon and turned back.

We met with a realtor in Bandon and checked out a few properties. We liked Bandon, the coquille river valley, and charleston. Coos bay is unreal. I can see my self spending a lot of time on it for diving, crabbing, and duck hunting. There are a lot of scoter, mallards, and geese out there already.

The nwr at Bandon marsh was cool too. Looks like a good spot to shoot some birds.

Anyone on here local to that spot?

I'll give a full re cap when I get home later this week but just like last time we both don't want to leave.

Pics= pacific city, port orford, Nikki at the brookings Octoberfest, a first find for me lobsters!!

Did you go through the Ag Checkpoint in California, or bag it and do a 180* before then.

Much of California is like Oregon, although, they have much less freedom there.

You know, Occasionally, Coos Bay gets Great Whites in it.

Me and Anya are back in Samut Sakhon in Thailand.

Man is it humid here.

We went through the checkpoint then got out of there.

There were sightings of great whites off 2 tree last fall and you know where I decided to dive, right off pleasure beach, lol. I didn't have any competition.

We stayed the night in Portland and it is literally just like the show Portlandia. Definitely a weird city.

On our way in we stopped at wolf marsh eagle sanctuary on the Columbia. I was blown away at the sheer number of birds literally 10's of thousands rafted up on the main river side of the marsh.

We are heading back today. Hopefully to return soon.
