Trailer Wheel

I was asked to share the wheel design I use on my trailers. The wheel is a rubber wheel that I purchased from harbor freight and had the mount welded on an existing piece. Being a rubber wheel, it will roll over and through anything. The hard plastic wheels gets stuck. Any questions let me know- Tom

Now that's a good idea. Any idea how long that rubber wheel will last and I,m assumeing its solid rubber with probably plastic rim?

Great idea!

Almost as amazing is that you got 5 years out of a modern small tire. I have had to have tubes put in the tires for my lawn tractors, wheel barrows, air compressor, et cetera....

All the best,

I'm amazed that tire lasted that long, we use a cart at the boats that uses those same tires, I buy two at a time to always have a spare, can't seem to get more then 4 months out of them.

I have been using "green Slime" in my small tires to good advantage. Headed to TSC this morning on another project, will see if they have small solid tires in stock. .
