Another new guy

I'm a new guy from Northwest TN. I duck hunt on a family owned farm that's adjacent to a state owned WMA. It's a grown up field that was leveed off years ago. We've owned the field for just a few years and slowly made improvements to in our time. The field has a good portion that holds water year round and we have a good bit of natural grass, lilly pads, buck brush, etc.. The majority of our ducks are gray ducks, mallards, gw teal, wood ducks, and occasionally some diver species.

I have been interested in getting into carving decoys. I have a large supply of paulownia wood to get started, I just need to find the time to finish my work space and gather a few more tools. I have a two year old little girl and an old house that have been taking up all of my free time! I have already received quite a bit of help from Mr. George at runamuck and hope to get started on something I began getting ready for over a year ago.

Braden I live in Jackson TN I enjoy carving decoys to hunt over and i have a large collection of around 500 wood decoys of different makers. If i can help you in anyway please let me know.

Good morning, Braden~

Glad to see you here at duckboats!

And, I am anxious to see how that Paulownia works out for decoys.

All the best,

SJS
